Business Controller

Your mission
You will be part of the Controlling Team and will be in charge of closing, cost controlling and business reporting for the Northern Europe Region (Germany/Benelux). You will be the point of contact for all questions related to the business performance. You will work in an international environment, with contacts all across the world. In this role you will report to the Business Control & Reporting Manager within the Finance department.

Your key responsibilities
- You play a key role in the quarterly closing process and P&L construction
- You analyze and compare the actual results with the budgets and forecasts
- You support the decision making process by supplying crystal clear business reporting to the management and your client departments
- You will help the business to reach its strategic and growth objectives, by performing financial analyses and bringing your financial expertise.
- You are in charge of the financial reporting to the local and international management
- You are keen to push our methods forward by improving on controlling tools

**Votre Profil**
**Profile**:

- You have a Master degree in Finance or Economics
- You have 4 to 8 years of experience in a similar function
- You are highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)
- You speak French or Dutch with a good knowledge of the other national language - You are fluent in English and the knowledge of German is a plus
- You are able to translate a complex reality into a simplified model
- You have a hands-on attitude and you are a self-starter
- You have an eye for detail without forgetting the bigger picture
- You are result and solution-minded
- You can prioritize
- You are at ease in a changing environment
- You are a team player
- You are stress resistant
- Knowledge of the insurance sector is a plus
- You are ready to travel occasionally to nearby destinations
