A key step to take in this chaotic market where almost everyone claims to use AI or have AI integrated in their products.

As the Solution Lead Smart Search/Assistance within the AI & data science team, your role will be crucial in the further development of our successes and close the gaps still existing. Within our team, we specialize in structuring unstructured data via AI technologies. With the smart search/assistance solution, we bundle that expertise into a re-usable, scalable and end-to-end offering that helps customers to easily find scattered information or automate complex processes that use information within audio, video, text or sensors data.
You as Solution Lead form the bridge between the team and our customers. And this by inspiring the customer and translating the customer’s strategic challenges into our Smart Search/Assistance solution.

Your key responsibilities are multifaceted:

- Contribution to presales & marketing activities related to the solution
- Contribution to the creation of proposal and bid process from an expert or team lead role
- Developing state-of-the-art knowledge within the AI domain
- A close collaboration with our Competence Center Leads. You determine what is priority for them to develop further technically.
- Detect knowledge gaps of the team and supporting the management team to overcome them
- Define a solution business plan and roadmap
- Be a trusted advisor for our customers
- Attract new talents based on expert knowledge
- Internal and external exposure as an authority
- Speaker at seminars / conferences R&D activities Top of Form

**Where you're going to get started**:
Proper AI solutions involve more than just algorithms. Hence, you go beyond the traditional borders of our business areas. You are part of the AI & development leadership teams where you are responsible for defining the strategies and actions required to development of this repeatable and scalable solution. You work closely with key stakeholders from other areas and industries where valuable for your business plan (e.g., security, testing, low-code, etc.). You keep one’s feet in the mud and work in the field of your solution at our customer(s).

**This is you**:

- You obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree within IT or equivalent through experience
- At least 8 years of work experience as an AI expert with multiple examples where you and your team implemented AI solution in production
- You have experience in leading or coordinating a team during the implementation of AI solutions
- You have a strong technical background and are able to build AI solutions yourself
- You are experienced in working with LLM’s, document processing, OCR, computer vision, search engines, etc.
- Proven track record in presales activities
- You have strong technical skills and you love to use those, in Dutch and English. French is an advantage
- You know how to connect with both business and IT from your expertise
- You are charismatic and know how to inspire to create commitment from the team
- You are focused on cooperation and a strong networker
- Your key characteristics are: entrepreneurship, focus on professional authority, commercial customer-oriented thinking
- But you are also decisive, strong result-oriented, innovative and a real team player
- You have a clear vision of market developments within the domain of our clients
- You have in-depth knowledge of developments within AI and keep a close eye on the latest trends in the AI ecosystem You are aware of the main regulatory requirements, MLops and responsible AI best practices
