**Ibecor, a wholly owned subsidiary of Heineken established in 1929, is dedicated to coordinating procurement and logistics activities to supply over 30 breweries in Africa with the essential commodities needed for local production.**

**About the Role**

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive **Order to Cash Accountant** to join our finance team. In this role, you will be the primary finance contact for all breweries, ensuring smooth financial operations, managing payments, resolving outstanding issues, and maintaining accurate account reconciliations. Your work will be key to ensuring timely cash collection, accurate invoicing, and effective financial reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**

**1. Accounts Receivable & Cash Collection**
- Maintain regular communication with operating companies (OpCos) to minimize outstanding invoices.
- Ensure accurate allocation of received payments from breweries.
- Provide weekly updates to breweries, including account statements.
- Supply missing financial documentation (invoices, payment confirmations, etc.).
- Perform monthly account reconciliations in our reporting tool Heimatch (CIL).

**2. Revenue & Invoicing**
- Process invoices for service fee’s to third-party customers and OpCos.
- Posting invoices for statistical purposes.
- Liaise with logistics and suppliers to clarify billing agreements.

**3. Financial Reporting**
- Prepare and submit quarterly / monthly reports on outstandings (DSO, aging,)

**4. Letters of Credit (L/C) Management**
- Prepare and submit necessary documents to banks for letter of credit transactions.
- Monitor notifications from banks and provide guidance to logistics teams.
- Approve LC usage and advise on required amendments.
- Assist logistics teams in resolving payment-related issues.
- Maintain key data in Navision and follow up on pending L/Cs.
- Track and manage unpaid invoices covered by L/Cs with banks and breweries.

**5. Support & Backup**
- Act as a backup for the Purchase to Pay Accountant when needed.

**Knowledge & Experience**
- Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles.
- Experience with Dynamics Navision & SAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of letters of credit procedures and regulations.

**Required Behaviours**
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced proficiency in IT and digital tools, including Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI) and Navision.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent by experience
- At least 3-5 years of work experience.
- Fluent in English. Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus.
