**Training and development local delivery specialist - Belgium & Luxembourg**

**Position summary**

Reporting to the Lead HR Manager in Belgium and cooperating closely with the Regional Talent Development partners and the People Partners for the different lines Operating Companies within MMC, the Talent Development local delivery specialist for BeLux will be responsible for learning and development projects and activities that promote a growing and learning workforce and effective people management and inspiring leadership.

**Job responsibilities**

The Talent Development local delivery specialist for Belgium & Luxembourg will be responsible for:

- the compliance of mandatory training including the delivery of information to the government, particularly as it refers to the IDD (Insurance Distribution Directive) training for the regulated entities and providing information for the “social balance sheet”.
- the implementations of trainings and educational programs for Marsh McLennan colleagues, ensuring that these offerings promote a growing and learning workforce. He/she will ensure we can leverage in the Country all trainings designed by the global Talent Development COE (Centre of Expertise), by adapting them to the local needs and promoting the participation by the people managers and the colleagues.
- The development of training materials for the delivery of the courses (virtual or classroom sessions), schedule sessions on the Learning Management System (Workday), track attendance, prepare tests and training certificates, manage requests for government or sector funded training, quality certification and internal/external audits.
- In conjunction with the People Partners (PP) and HR Managers (HRM), the definition of country policies across MMC for external training, aligning them in all MMC businesses. He /she will negotiate, and control local training vendors as well as the country's training budget, developing and maintaining KPIs for local training.
- Develop and maintain core learning curriculums within each function (sales / graduate / leadership,).
- Identify training and development needs through role reviews, performance appraisal data and regular consultation with managers and HR Managers/People Partners and COEs.
- Understand the global COE learning strategy and offerings framework, in order to promote and leverage enterprise products wherever possible.
- Be the expert of current and new global enterprise learning platform and tools. Advocate and support the move to the new Enterprise learning approach.
- Support the local PPs and HRMs in the deployment of the talent and development initiatives, like succession planning, talent review, high potential identification and development, career paths etc.
- Get involved in cross Country learning and development projects and activities, and support any other country on Talent Development matters when needed.

**Experience, knowledge and competence requirements**
- 2+ years' relevant experience in HR alongside a requirement for suitable qualifications.
- Experience in working in a matrix and in a multinational organization
- Able to identify opportunities to make improvements to the service provided to the organization
- Experience of successfully supporting project/initiative implementation across multiple business lines / geographies
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to connect with colleagues in business and in wider HR including CoEs and People Partners when required
- Client focus : Responding effectively to internal client needs
- Fluency in French, Dutch and English
- Learning orientation: Learn and grow self
- Advanced use of the MS Office tools
- Use of Workday system would be a plus
- Project Manager previous experience/background would be a plus
- Previous experience working in different Countries would be a plus
