Desotec's mission is to protect our planet. We provide end-to-end purification solutions for pollution in air, water and other gases and liquids. We do this by supplying mobile activated carbon filters to our B2B customers all over Europe. We recycle our own saturated filters by taking back the spent activated carbon for reactivation, making our filter solutions circular.

As Production Manager you are responsible for the production activities at the various Desotec sites.
- You take charge of the reactivation furnaces in Roeselare, keep the overview and adjust where necessary with regard to the continuity of the production.
- You develop and monitor the planning, timing and budget of the production
- You directly manage a production manager and 3 supervisors, who are in turn responsible for 5 production teams with a total of 30 operators (24/7 system)
- You are responsible for the budgeted output and keep an eye on agreed returns, delivery times, qualities and costs. OEE is a key metric here.
- You strive to achieve the predefined KPIs both operationally and financially and translate these KPIs into actions on the production floor
- You work on continuous improvement of existing methods, systems and procedures to ensure efficient and safe processes. This within your own team but also together with the maintenance and engineering team- You make the production department ready for the future and develop a learning organisation in which coaching the production team is the key to success
- You report directly to the COO

**PROFILE**:
- You have a degree in industrial engineering (preferably chemistry)
- You have at least 5 years of experience in a managerial position within a production context
- You have a helicopter view and can quickly respond to problems or challenges
- You integrate structure and clarity into daily operations
- You are a real people manager and are able to lead, manage and coach a team
- You have experience with Lean management
- You dare to question and analyse things with a critical view in function of optimisation
- You can communicate and implement changes in a fluent and open manner
- You are immune to stress
- You are flexible and offer support when and where needed
- You are eager to learn and will not shy away from a single challenge
- Dutch & English are required. French is a plus
