**Job description**:

- You coordinate door-to-door shipments of project-, machinery
- and breakbulk cargo.
- You create the operational file in the companies’ own IT system and ensure a quality A to Z execution and follow up.
- You coordinate the mostly multimodal and cross trade shipments with your colleagues, agents and suppliers worldwide.
- You keep a clear overview on the various transports within a certain project and maintain a customer-oriented communication and optimal project reporting.
- You deal efficiently and qualitatively with possible customer complaints.
- You assist the project team with the follow up of customer RFQ’s and tenders.
- You send out rate requests to our suppliers (transport companies, shipping lines, terminals, agents, etc) and negotiate the price and conditions where needed.
- You work out commercial offers and define the right price, terms and conditions in consultation with the project team or sales manager.

**Requirements**:

- You have a bachelor’s degree in logistics or similar due to experience
- You have at least 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role as a freight forwarder
- Experience in project logistics
- You are fluent in English and Dutch. Active knowledge of any other language is a plus
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to think out-of-box
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Work and act as a team player in all interactions with other employees and Customers
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times, excellent customer service skills to ensure the satisfaction and approval of our clients
