**For Wonderauto, subsidiary of D'Ieteren Automotive, we are looking for a Head of Wholesale My Way.**
**Wonderauto, active in used cars at Belgian and international level, has the ambition to become the undisputed market leader in Belgium through a used-vehicle sales model that combines online channels with a national dealer network.**:
**Function**:
The wholesale car factory is the operational engine of My Way. The car factory ensures that My Way sources the right quality cars for the Belgian market and delivers an excellent service quality to our strategic distribution channels.
In the end, the Wholesale car factory continuously searches for the right balance between volume, margin and stock velocity and aims to fee our My Way network with the right products for the Belgian market.
In order to realize this mission, we need a Head of Wholesale, whose mission is to
- Take responsibility for implementing business strategy into processes and procedures
- Create clear roles and responsibilities in the Operations team, allowing an efficient handling of purchase, sales, deliveries and refurbishment activities
- Ensure an excellent service quality for our B2B customers
- Focus on structural process improvements across our entire wholesale operations (both in sourcing and sales) to optimize: our stock rotation, staffing productivity and operational capacity
- Develop an accurate forecasting of our future purchase and sales volumes allowing accurate capacity management of the internal operations team and with our partners Dekra & HM
- Main contact point for our compound handling partner (Hödlemayr) including SLA follow-up, contract and volume negotiations - driving all strategic and tactical discussions to improve SLA’s
- Strong focus on digitalization and automatization of processes across the entire value chain (in collaboration with our internal IT team and Robonext)
- Setup of controls and regular monitoring of SLA’s and KPI’s in order to identify main pain-points and improvements across various processes
- Recruitment, leadership, coaching and motivating the wholesale operations team, in order to maximize engagement and efficiency
**Profiel**:
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in Operations or Supply Chain of which 5 in a management function
- Experience in managing a team
- Experience in a B2B environment, ideally in the Automotive/ Mobility sector
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree
- Structural and analytical thinker, in order to structurally improve process efficiency and gain time, costs, reduce error rates and improve service quality for both internal and external clients
- Partnership management: You will be responsible for managing our partnerships with various external providers, continuously improving their quality and effectiveness.
- Planning & organizational: You are able to plan and organize your team accordingly, define key processes and controls to make sure we respect our commitments.
- Team management skills: You are able to continuously coach members of the team in order to help them become the best version of themselves in their day-to-day job.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in Dutch, French and English
