**Purpose statement**:
**Essential Functions**:

- Leads multi-faceted direct channel (NGS Field Sales, Core/GWE Field Sales, Inside Sales), indirect channel (distributors), and support team to achieve EMEA growth and performance targets
- Deploys strategies and tactics to ensure IDT’s accelerated market penetration while meeting Danaher standards for operating margin expansion (OMX) and working capital deployment (WCT).
- Attracts, engages and retains outstanding talents that embraces the Danaher core values and the Danaher Business System (DBS), and is committed to provide outstanding support for our customers.
- Partners with the Sr. Commercial leadership team and supporting functions to maximize and optimize Regional market share and customer experience, while building commercial competitive advantage
- Embraces DBS and passionately demand that the DBS fundamentals (visual daily management, standard work, voice of the customer (VOC), Kaizen basics, 5S, problem solving, value stream mapping and transactional process improvement) and solid commercial fundamentals (funnel management, order and revenue forecasting, dealer/distributor management) are consistently implemented and rigorously followed.
- Meets and/or exceeds requirements established in core value drivers (CVDs) and KPIs including but not limited to orders, revenue, operating margin, OMX, working capital, product and service quality, on-time delivery, internal fill rate, employee engagement and employee retention.
- Utilizes CRM (SalesForce and PowerBI) to manage team sales tasks, pipeline, and closing data.
- Plays a key role on the global Senior Commercial Leadership Team in formulating and advising on the broader strategic direction for the organization.
- Manages external relations to develop and maintain high level contacts with industry and business associations, interest groups and key customers.
- Monitors and evaluates sales rep progress against stated expectations, in addition to aligning and changing behavior with performance expectations.
- Works closely and effectively with finance leadership including the regional finance partner to establish and ensure compliance with appropriate financial procedures and controls.
- Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Be aware of IDT’s policy on and contribute to quality and environmental management by adhering to the requirements of the ISO 9001, 13485 and 14001 standards and internal procedures and work instructions.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences required.
- Master’s degree or PhD is preferred.

**Professional Experience**:

- Minimum of five years’ experience in a senior strategic commercial management role required within a global, fast paced environment; ten years preferred.
- Previous experience leading sales teams in all traditional areas of sales required.
- Previous experience building, mentoring and leading a sales team
- Proven record of leadership and managing a sales organization with regional responsibility and establishing long term strategic growth initiatives required.

- Ability to make decisions in a changing environment and anticipate future needs.
- Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of associates.
- Proven track record of driving profitable revenue and market share growth, demonstrated over a sustained period of time.
- Strong analytical, planning, forecasting and budgeting skills.
- Adaptability to perform under stress when confronted with emergent, critical, unusual, or dangerous situations, or situation in which working speed and sustained attention are make-or-break aspects of the job.
- Adaptability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
- Ability to maintain both a high standard of courtesy and cooperation in dealing with co-workers.
- Ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity.
- Adaptability to situations requiring the precise attainment of set limits, tolerances or standards.
- Proficient knowledge of English required, local languages preferred

**Travel Requirements (anything requiring overnight stay)**:

- Remote role requiring travel (primarily domestic in Europe but can involve international travel) around 40%
