For this position you would be working with our client from the European institutions.

DIGIT.A.3's activities focus on the development of information systems in different domains such as document management, knowledge management, crisis management, the internal decision-making process of the Commission and the European Citizen's Initiative. DIGIT.A.3 manages the complete development
lifecycle of the information systems, including feasibility, study, business requirements, business process modelling, analysis, development, testing and deployment. Accompanying measures like training, support and the design of promotion campaigns are also managed by the unit.

Below are the details of your role and requirements.

**Your role**
- Moderate and guide the ePO Working Group discussions and provide technical guidance

and assistance to the group. Maintain and publish the minutes of the WG meetings.
- Provide intuitive explanations and suggestions to the working group on how to advance the

work on the ontology in a semantically correct way.
- Review and preparation of technical documentation, technical communication, and

technical presentation material.
- Create/update the ePO documentation ensuring clarity on how the ontology is designed

and should be used.
- Regularly update the ontology artefacts: conceptual model, Glossary, OWL file, SHACL

Shapes, Restrictions, and the html-conventions-report.
- Manage Source control and release lifecycle
- Work with the eForms, ESPD-EDM, and TED Open Data Service teams to ensure

integration and alignment of the ePO standard with other Commission standards and
products including the Public Procurement Data Space.
- Development and maintenance of internal tools and automations to facilitate operations.
- Assistance with technical decision making and steering of the project.
- Interaction with the business analysts, customer, users, project leaders and the developers

**Who we think you are**:

- Formal Ontologies, OWL, SHACL
- RDF data and data formats
- SPARQL, triple stores and semantic search (experience with Virtuoso will be an

advantage).
- UML and systems modelling
- Experience with SPARX Enterprise Architect or Archimate
- Python programming
- Source control with Git (experience with Github pipelines will be an advantage).
