Test Automation Specialist

We are currently looking for an "**Automation Engineer**" to strengthen the Cronos Europa team. **DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS** - Design, prepare and monitor automated tests. - Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process. - Evaluate tools and technology for automation best fit to the project within the DevSecOps approach. - Create an approach and methodology for building a test automation architecture. - Design and develop (new or modified) test automation solutions that meet the business needs. - Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach. - Create automated test reporting and metrics collection. - Capable of performing tasks independently with mínimal guidance or oversight. - Knowledge of continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to collaborate with QA team members, providing guidance and support on best practices. - In-depth understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) processes **KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS** - Knowledge of test automation technologies, tools and techniques - Hands-on experience in the creation of test automation solutions. - Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools. - Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) Tools. - Experience in the test data management. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports. - Capability of integration in an international/multi - cultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team. - Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in working in team. - Ability to participate in multilingual meetings. - Ability to work in multi-cultural environment, on multiple large projects. - Excellent Team Player. - Ability to understand, speak and write English (C1/C2) will be an advantage. **TECHNICAL SKILLS** - At least 5 years of experience in scripting languages Python, Java or JavaScript for test automation and version control systems. - At least 5 years of experience in designing and writing test cases specifically tailored for automation, covering both functional and non-functional testing scenarios. - At least 3 years of experience with version control systems (e.g. Git). - At least 3 years of experience with SQL scripting for data validation and verification, used in test scenarios. - At least 3 years of experience with JIRA for tracking and managing test cycles and automation requirements (using Zephyr or Xray). - At least 3 years of experience with API testing in automated environments, ensuring reliability and performance. - At least 3 years of experience using Postman or SoapUI for automated API testing, including the development of scripts and validations for integration testing. **PROFILE** - Min 4 years experience - Bachelor degree in IT - Proficiency on Ansible - French and English professional **CERTIFICATIONS & STANDARDS**: - Following certificates & standards are an asset for the performance of tasks: - Optional certification: ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer or equivalent **Why Cronos Group?** **We’ll propose you**: - An attractive salary package - A good work-life balance environment - The assurance of working in cutting-edge technologies in an entrepreneurial spirit. - The opportunity to develop your skills thanks to tailor-made training courses according to your needs - A good job in a friendly place If you wish to integrate a dynamic structure on a human scale while working with the latest technologies, don't wait anymore and join Cronos **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent contract, Freelance
