You would like to live the diversity of cultures and projects through international travels. The position of **Internal Auditor** is maybe the answer. The Internal Audit function is** directly reporting to the Audit Committee and CEO** and directly in contact with the senior management. The scope covers the **whole Group** having activities in Belgium and internationally (large part in Middle-East). The annual audit plan covers entities, projects, processes, financial matters (so not only operational processes). The missions abroad are about 30%. The small team implies day-to-day interactions with the head of department. High **visibility function** interacting with a large variety of stakeholders within the organization providing a broad understanding of the company. Functie-eisen - "Hands on" personality focused on concrete output and added value to the business. High level of assertiveness and questioning the facts and situation. - Structured and analytical mindset, able to extract the essence of the situation. - Minimum of 7 years experience including external or internal audit (focused on industry/commercial). - Good basis on standard internal controls and good accounting level knowledge. - University degree in finance or economics, engineering or other relevant field. - ** Fluency in Dutch or French **and English (ability to interact with auditees necessary in view of the internal audit scope, reports are drafted in English). - Strong interpersonal and communicational skills are necessary to achieve pragmatic solutions. - A strong team player profile is key in the context of the team size. - Good general IT literacy (including MS Office) and affinity with ICT.
