Euroclear Bank Asset Servicing Operations, and its 500 colleagues based in Belgium, Poland and Hong Kong, are at the heart of what is happening in the capital markets.
Whenever an issuer decides to raise funds on the capital market, it selects an Agent or a Lead Manager, i.e. financial institution to which it grants the mandate to place such instrument on the market, targeting the investors.
Our New issues teams act as a ‘gateway to Euroclear’, an access point throughout which issuers effectuate the connection with the investors base.
During the lifecycle of an instrument when the issuer pays some interests, dividends or reimburses the loan, our Income teams come into force and are responsible for the correct information provision and processing of such payments to the investors.
Should the issuer decide to restructure its debt, change something in the initial terms and conditions of the security, organize a meeting with all investors or merge with another company, our Corporate Actions teams will be actively involved to meet the issuers needs.
Our Taxes teams are also ensuring that all the fiscal regulations imposed on issuers and investors are properly reflected and reported.
Finally the work of all our colleagues is safeguarded by our Reconciliation and Investigation teams who ensure a daily reconciliation of the assets and movements performed by our networks of agents and clients. As we are in a world that is evolving fast we also have Business Analytics and Innovation & Transformation teams that help us going through changes and preparing ourselves for the future.
Euroclear Bank offers collateral management services to Participants in support of their bilateral repurchase agreements, securities loans, secured loan facilities, derivatives transactions and margining for central counterparties. Euroclear Bank collateral management services includes:
- Triparty repo
- Triparty securities lending
- Triparty derivatives support
- Collateral allocation interface service with central banks.
- Services for ESES and DEGCL.
Collateral Management Services include deal matching, collateral eligibility verification and selection, delivery against or free of payment of collateral, daily mark-to-market functions, collateral substitution, margin maintenance, custody event management and reporting.
**Role and Responsibilities**:
- On-boarding new Triparty clients or new Triparty product(s) for active clients. You are the owner of client’s on boarding process as from the confirmation of a Triparty service subscription and until the successful start of the first activity. You understand client’s needs and processes and translate them into solutions which are in line with our standard services
- Supporting Collateral Account Managers (CAM) and the Collateral Project team (P&C) for client’s testing and roll out of new product or strategic initiatives. You contribute to support Euroclear projects which have an impact on the client on-boarding process, or to projects initiated by client which requires specific on-boarding knowledge and experience.
- For Clients’ onboarding, you are responsible to:
- Provide the expected service to our clients and ensure that first contact with our triparty department is a positive experience for them.
- Use standard processes and checklists within a CI approach
- Continuously communicate with clients and internal stakeholders (contribute to kick off, organize regular status calls, prepare hand over)
- Act as central contact point for:
- processing of documents,
- following-up of on boarding process milestones,
- identifying and raising special request or service deviations,
- coordinating escalations (services issues, delay in processing)
- Collect clients and Collateral Account Managers’ feedback about the on boarding experience and leverage it to improve processes and satisfaction
- Provide reporting about onboarding performance towards management
- For testing and product roll out support you are responsible for:
- Supporting clients to set up an adequate strategy (identify key milestones, coordinate actions plans),
- Ensuring that testing data's (accounts, securities,) are aligned with client's needs,
- Coordinating progresses in accordance with the agreed strategy and actions plan,
- Driving an interactive communication with the client and internal stakeholders and
- Preparing or reviewing documentation
- Confirming successful and complete testing / product roll out results towards the client and internal stakeholders.
