**Functie**:
Als Technical Writer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het aanmaken en onderhouden van verschillende technische documenten bv. machinehandleidingen, technische cursussen, documenten voor de opleiding van klanten, presentaties, productbeschrijvingen,... Deze informatie zet je om in zowel tekst, beeld en video.
Wat valt er nog binnen jouw takenpakket?
- Grote hoeveelheden technische informatie worden door jou geanalyseerd en omgezet in begrijpelijke en overzichtelijke documenten;
- Je beschrijft processen en functionaliteiten in functie van de doelgroep bv. interne gebruikers, klanten;
- Een nauwe samenwerking met verschillende afdelingen om zo steeds over de juiste informatie te beschikken;
- Aan de hand van het onderwerp bekijk je steeds welke informatie best via welk medium worden gedeeld;
- Je bekijkt welke nieuwe technieken de technische informatie kunnen vereenvoudigen voor de lezer.

**Profiel en vaardigheden**:
Naar wie is onze klant op zoek?
- Iemand met relevante ervaring als technical writer;
- Zelfstandig werken vormt geen probleem voor jou;
- Je werkt steeds gestructureerd en nauwkeurig;
- Je hebt interesse in motoren en beheerst de basisprincipes;
- Zowel Nederlands als Engels beheers je perfect. Kennis van andere talen is steeds een pluspunt;
- Kennis van grafische programma's (Adobe-pakket) is een groot pluspunt;
- Je hebt een sterke verantwoordelijkheidszin.
**Over de organisatie**:
Onze klant is actief in de technische sector met een hoofdzetel die terug te vinden is in Gent. Ze zijn actief in de fabricatie van motoren voor schepen, locomotieven en generatorsets. Voortdurend werken zij ook aan de ontwikkeling en implementatie van nog efficiëntere motoren met een lager brandstofverbruik.
Dankzij hun persoonlijke begeleiding kan dit bedrijf rekenen op een mooie klantenportefeuille, die staan voor een transparante en snelle opvolging. Momenteel telt de firma ongeveer 300 medewerkers en ze blijven groeien
