**Your key responsibilities**

You are responsible for realizing (complex) communication projects, often with tight deadlines. This may involve communication for internal target groups and external target groups and often a combination of both. You develop and implement a multi-channel communication approach. This can be in multidisciplinary teams or alone, depending on the commitment to a particular project. You are a communication partner for the (senior) management and give them advice. You will join the Advice team, which consists of 7colleagues working on vision & strategy and change communication, brand activation, employee engagement and reputation management.

Examples:

- Empower and facilitate colleagues to tell INGs story
- Help spark conversations, share content, organise interactive meet-ups etc.
- Produce content to display progress on the implementation of our strategy
- Explain and visualise what the future of banking could look like
- Prepare senior management strategy updates
- Prepare crisis communication deliverables
**Your role & work environment**

The Centre of Expertise (CoE) Communications & Brand Experience is a cross-border organisation with over 100 people in Belgium and the Netherlands. The purpose of the CoE is to maximize the engagement of our customers and all other stakeholders to become a true love brand.

The CoE is organised in four Areas:

- Internal & External Communications
- Branding, Advertising & Sponsoring
- Media, Programmatic & Social media
- Media Relations, Stakeholder Management and sustainability

You role is part of the Internal & External Communications area.

We expect profound knowledge and experience in:

- Work experience in strategic communication (internal/external) is required
- Experience as spokesperson/journalist is an advantage
- Gets energy from crisis management in a complex playing field
- Has a keen eye for possible internal and external reputation damage
- Switches and connects with all stakeholders from external stakeholders, to management and direct colleagues
- Devotes attention to measuring and analysing the effects of communication and the continuous implementation of improvements on the basis of lessons learned
- Remains calm and keeps an overview of stressful and complex processes, acts immediately if necessary, but continues to analyse and think in scenarios
- Is curious and continues to ask for the actual issue to surface

As a senior communications expert you will also need:

- Higher educational degree or Master in Communications
- Min. 5 year experience in a communication department
- Strong project management experience
- Excellent level of French, Dutch and English
