**Overview**

Legal Compliance Officer oversees the legal and compliance aspects of Kia Belgium to safeguard the reputation and integrity of the company and the compliance with the relevant legal regulations and guidelines. You will collaborate with the legal teams of Kia EU and/or Kia HQ to perform the mission. This is a part time position (20 hours/week).

**Responsibilities**
- Actively collaborate with the Kia EU Legal Compliance to coordinate legal and compliance related programs and initiatives.
- Attend the Pan-European monthly alignment calls.
- Collect legal and compliance consulting requests and either directly handle these matters with external counsel or collaborate with Kia EU Legal Compliance.
- Support Pan-European or local investigations and litigations (derived from investigations)
- Support Pan-European projects (legal, compliance, privacy IT) e.g, provide contract templates, communicate with local management and business departments, answer questions from different stakeholders.
- Support in Legal and Compliance trainings for the local stakeholders
- Maintain contract-related documents and correspondence within Kia’s Management Contract Database Legisway.
- Monitor and archive contracts and move forward with conclusion, extension, or renewal according to what’s best for the Company and in line with business interests.
- Monitor and manage litigation cases and provide the quarterly Litigation Report to Kia EU.
- Support of the implementation of (compliance) policies.

**Profile**
- Degree in (business) law or equivalent education
- 3+ years in an international work environment, preferably automotive, or technology company background
- Experience in contract management, basic knowledge in GDPR and competition law are a plus
- Cooperative working style with the willingness to assume responsibility
- Fluent in English and Dutch, French is a plus
- Analytical and research skills
