Our experts in our Global Public Affairs practice with Offices in Berlin, Brussels, Paris and the Hague advise companies regarding the impact of political, societal and economic developments on their business model as well as on the strategic positioning in that context. That includes support for the advocacy of legitimate interests, media engagement as well as the analysis and recommendations for the optimal organization of the areas of Governmental Relations and Policy. Our Brussels office serves as the EU hub of FGS Global.

**Consultant / Senior Associate Policy & Public Affairs**
**What tasks can you look forward to?**
- Assessing political and regulatory developments and advising on strategies as well as dedicated campaigns to shape public policy and the surrounding media debate.
- Taking on a project lead/management role, contributing to the development of more junior colleagues, as well as establishing yourself as a key client contact.
- Drawing on your sectoral and/or policy expertise, your everyday tasks will include gathering political and societal insights and advising clients on their strategic significance, building policy and media networks, formulating communication materials, developing and presenting recommendations to the client, and supporting outreach with relevant EU stakeholders.
- Supporting our team in client acquisition and the further development of existing mandates.
**What should you bring along?**
- You have gained at least two years’ work experience in a relevant field e.g. policy(-making), government relations, legal advisory; institutional experience, expertise in a specific policy field, in media/media relations or digital campaigning is an asset.
- You graduated with excellent results.
- You show an entrepreneurial mindset, intellectual curiosity and strong competence in task/project management.
- You have gained a keen understanding of and interest in politics and policymaking, societal trends and economics, as well as the interplay between them.
- You demonstrate outstanding skills in written and spoken English. Knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
