ExeVir Bio is a young and dynamic pre-clinical stage company, working with a modular platform,
developing single-domain antibody-based therapies focused on infectious diseases.
ExeVir Bio has set-up a Preclinical Research Laboratory in Gent and we are seeking a highly motivated
Research Associate with a Bachelor’s degree in the life sciences or medical field with a minimum of 3
years of laboratory experience or a Master’s degree in the life sciences or medical field with a
minimum of 1 year of laboratory experience. The research associate will be responsible for the
executing and data analysis of in vitro experiments. This individual will be a key member of a
collaborative preclinical team in a small start-up company and this position offers the opportunity to

**Responsibilities**:
- Performing the execution of in vitro experiments
- Analysis of raw assay data under the guidance of the team scientist
- Ensuring quality throughout sample processes and proper sample handling
- Recording data and results according to good documentation practice
- Ensuring good management of the laboratory by maintaining the laboratory stock, and comanaging the laboratory services involving the maintenance and calibration of laboratory material
- Be in contact with supply vendors
