Our client is a market-leading digital marketplace platform based in Brussels. They are driving the digital evolution of its industry. As part of a major international technology network, they combine the agility of a local scale-up with the resources of a global industry giant. They are currently accelerating their product and AI capabilities to deliver next-generation experiences for both consumers and B2B professionals.

The Role

As the Head of Product, you will lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team of Product Managers and Product Designers. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be the driving force that translates a visionary product strategy into flawless execution. You will champion a modern product culture, foster an AI-first mindset, and ensure the team delivers continuous value across a complex multi-sided marketplace ecosystem.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and elevate a team of Product Managers and Designers, fostering an environment of psychological safety, curiosity, and extreme accountability;
  • Own and execute the product roadmap, effectively translating the high-level business strategy into actionable goals, clear OKRs, and measurable business outcomes;
  • Institutionalize continuous product discovery, validation, and agile delivery methodologies, while helping teams integrate AI-driven workflows into their daily discovery and decision-making processes;
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Data, and Commercial leadership to streamline communication, eliminate roadblocks, and optimize product delivery speed and quality.

Your Profile

  • A strong track record of managing, developing, and successfully scaling teams of Product Managers;
  • Excellent product judgment and a deep understanding of multi-sided digital platforms, ideally at a SaaS scale-up or Digital Marketplace. You combine consumer obsession with sharp commercial acumen;
  • Highly proficient in Agile/Scrum environments and have practical experience managing product portfolios via OKRs;
  • Empathetic with a, low ego, high intellectual curiosity and a strong bias to action;
  • You are based in or willing to commute to Brussels (with hybrid flexibility) and are fluent in English. Knowledge of French or Dutch is a strong asset.
