In a nutshellFerranti is seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Specialist to join our team and lead the integration of Snowflake and OneLake technologies. In this role, you will design and implement efficient data‐loading processes, optimize query performance, and ensure a seamless data flow from our Dynamics 365 Finance and MECOMS systems, through a Data Lake, into a Snowflake data warehouse.Your main tasks and responsibilitiesDesign and implement incremental data‐loading processes from source databases and OneLake into Snowflake.Develop and optimize ETL processes for populating data landing zones, the Data Vault, and Data Marts.Work with Synapse Link to move data from Microsoft FinOps, SQL Server, and CosmosDB into Microsoft OneLake.Handle OneLake Parquet files and Apache Iceberg formats to ensure data compatibility.Optimize data access and query performance across the entire data pipeline.Ensure data integrity and consistency throughout all stages of the data flow.Stay up to date with the latest developments in Snowflake, OneLake, Synapse, Fabric, and related technologies.ProfileYou have:At least 3 to 5 years of experience as a Data Warehouse Specialist.Strong knowledge of SQL, Azure Data Lake, and Parquet file formats.Experience with ETL, data integration, and data modeling.Familiarity with performance optimization and data governance.Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude.The ability to meet project deadlines.Experience in the energy and utilities sector is a plus.You are:Passionate about technology and innovation.Fluent in Dutch and English.A dynamic team player with a strong sense of responsibility.Able to communicate effectively across different levels.Willing to travel if required.We offerJoin a leading and innovative company where you stay up to date with the latest technologies, enjoy a healthy work‐life balance, and thrive in a team culture built on trust and continuous growth.Interested?
