Our client is an engineering consultancy specialized in the field of numerical simulation.Active across multiple sectors, the company supports its clients and partners — including major industry leaders in the Liège region — on various R&D projects. Driven by strong values, it is recognized for its expertise and responsiveness.For one of its key clients located in Liège (Belgium), we are actively looking for an Engineering IT Business Lead.ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you act as the main interface between IT and Engineering teams. You are responsible for managing and evolving the Engineering application landscape, leading cross-functional IT projects, coordinating an international team, and contributing to the overall governance and maturity of the IT department.Key responsibilitiesAct as the main interface between Engineering stakeholders and IT teamsManage and develop the Engineering IT application portfolio, including PLM, ALM, and engineering toolsCoordinate and lead international teams across multiple locationsDrive cross-functional IT projects, from requirements gathering to deployment and change managementEnsure application performance and reliability through monitoring of SLA, KPI, and incidentsGuarantee compliance with security standards, internal policies, and IT governance frameworksDefine budgets, roadmaps, and resource planning for the Engineering IT scopeContribute to continuous improvement initiatives and IT process maturityProfileYou hold a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or an equivalent technical fieldYou have 5 to 7 years of experience in IT application management, project delivery, or domain leadership rolesYou have experience working with engineering or industrial environments and complex technical toolsYou demonstrate leadership and coordination skills, with exposure to international or cross-cultural teamsYou communicate clearly and confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersYou are structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented, able to prioritize in a complex environmentYour application will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, in accordance with the GDPR.
