Learn more at www.twobirds.com.About the RoleOur Brussels office is seeking a Mid-Level Associate (2–3 years PQE) to join our EU Chemicals Regulatory Team. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile EU regulatory and litigation matters in a fast-evolving legal landscape.ResponsibilitiesEU chemicals regulatory advice (including REACH, CLP, biocides, and related frameworks)Regulatory strategy and compliance before EU institutions and national authoritiesAdvocacy and litigation before national courts and the EU CourtsMonitoring and analysing EU legislative and policy developmentsAdvising on market access, enforcement, and product compliance issuesSupporting clients across the EU on complex, cross-border regulatory mattersYou will be involved in both advisory and contentious work, assisting clients on strategic regulatory projects with significant EU-wide impact.QualificationsHolds 2–3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in EU regulatory law or life sciences/chemicals-related mattersIs admitted to an EU BarHas a strong background in EU law (LL.M. preferred)Has a solid understanding of EU institutions, ideally supported by a traineeship at the European Commission or a similar organisationRequired SkillsDemonstrates excellent analytical and drafting skills with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented approachHas an outstanding command of English; French, Italian, or other EU languages are a strong assetIs a collaborative team player with a flexible and committed mindsetIs motivated to work on complex, high-profile matters across the EUFor more information about the job vacancy, please contact Claudio Mereu or Natalie Konings to discuss the opportunity.How to ApplyIf you're ready to take your career to the next level, please send your CV and cover letter to jennifer.laforgia@twobirds.com.
