The EU Chemicals Regulatory team advises Belgian and international clients on complex EU regulatory and litigation matters in a fast-evolving legal landscape.As part of the team, you will:Advise clients on EU chemicals regulatory frameworks, including REACH, CLP, biocides and related legislationDevelop regulatory strategy and provide compliance advice before EU institutions and national authoritiesRepresent clients in advocacy and litigation before national courts and the EU CourtsMonitor and analyse EU legislative and policy developments affecting regulated products and marketsAdvise on market access, enforcement and product compliance issuesSupport clients on complex, cross-border regulatory matters across the EUYou will be involved in both advisory and contentious work, contributing to strategic regulatory projects with significant EU-wide impact.Your profile2–5 years of professional experience, ideally in EU regulatory law or chemicals / life sciences mattersAdmission to an EU BarStrong academic background in EU law; an LL.M. is an assetSolid understanding of EU institutions; experience through a traineeship at the European Commission or a similar body is a strong plusExcellent analytical and drafting skills with a pragmatic, solutions-oriented mindsetOutstanding command of English; French, Italian or another EU language is an assetCollaborative team player with a flexible and committed attitudeWhat's in it for youThis role offers exposure to high-profile EU regulatory and litigation work within a leading international practice.
