Our goal is to make solar design intuitive and accessible, speeding up the clean energy transition.We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Owner/Project Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience in software development to join our team in Geel, Belgium.As a Project Manager for our Virto.CORE integrations, you will play a crucial role in driving the development of software solutions for our cutting-edge engineering software for mounting system manufactures in the solar industry.Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within our diverse, multinational team. Proficiency in another EU language is considered a plus.Key responsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, goals and roadmap for software development projects.Translate business requirements into clear user stories, prioritize features and maintain a well-defined product backlog.Work closely with development teams, providing guidance and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software within the agreed timelines.Identify trends and market opportunities, keeping the product competitive and innovative.Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand needs and incorporate user insights into the development process.Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project requirements.Regularly review and assess the progress of development projects, adapting plans as necessary to meet changing priorities.Monitor and report on budget, scope, and timeline to ensure alignment with project objectives and support informed decision-making.Participate in quarterly strategic client meetings.What are we looking for?Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner/Project Manager in software development.Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver successful software projects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering exceptional user experiences.Experience in tracking project budgets and providing financial updates to stakeholders.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools.Excellent communication skills in both English and French.
