Who is Bru Textiles?Bru Textiles is a Belgian company that was founded in 1995 by 2 South African brothers. The company is active in the B2B purchase, modification and sale of fabrics used for interior design. Bru is about 1200 people strong worldwide and had a turnover of about €200 million in 2024. Bru has many partnerships with companies in Asia and Europe (called Mills) that convert the fabrics for them. Their fabrics are mainly used in curtains, bedding, wall coverings...Bru Textiles is strongly committed to innovation, digitization and automation through, among other things, the use of AI (e.g. for their chatbots) and digital twins.Landscape and IT teamIn 2018, Bru Textiles was the second player in Belgium to start with an SAP S/4HANA implementation. In the coming years, further roll-outs are planned to various sites worldwide, including Dubai, as well as a biennial update of the SAP system.The IT department has about 30 employees, 7 of whom are active within SAP, including 2 development profiles. To strengthen this team, we are currently looking for a senior SAP Developer.As a Senior SAP Developer you...Will be responsible for the entire SAP system and play a central role in the upcoming roll-out and upgrade projects.Coach and supervise junior developers, take the lead in projects and influence decisions regarding system architecture.Will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into concrete technical solutions.Think along functionally and actively look for ways to innovate and improve business processes within the SAP ecosystem.What skills and characteristics do you bring to the table?You have 7-8 years of development experience in SAP ABAP and SAP FIORI/ SAP UI5, experience with SAP CI and/or BTP is a nice plusYou are fluent in EnglishYou are willing to travel internationally several times a year (e.g. Dubai)Why is it interesting to work at Bru Textiles?Modern environment with SAP S4 system and a lot of new technology.You will work at the global HQ and you will come into contact with different culturesYou work for an internationally growing top player in its segment.
