We seek a confirmed senior AWS DevSecOps / Cloud Security Engineer to implement NIS2-compliant security controls across AWS environments.Key ResponsibilitiesImplement AWS-native security controls defined by the Cloud Security Architect.Ensure NIS2 compliance: IAM, backups, vulnerability management, documentation.Collaborate with cloud, security, identity, patching, backup, and vulnerability teams across international entities.Design secure, cost-optimised AWS solutions.Build new AWS DevSecOps capabilities using native AWS components.Mandatory requirements:Senior-level AWS Security expertise (hands-on, production environments).Experience with AWS modular architecture and design patterns.GuardDuty, Security Hub, AWS Backup, KMS & secrets, IAM / Privileged Access Management, AWS patching, vulnerability remediation.Knowledge of NIS2 requirements.Ability to secure AWS against DDoS, ransomware, and cloud threats.AWS cost optimisation capability.Full autonomy, immediate operational capability (no training).Soft Skills & LanguagesAutonomous, solution-oriented, proactive.Strong communication in English (mandatory)Comfortable in large, multicultural environments.Interested or know someone who fits?
