R&D Engineer – Electromechanical EngineeringGhent, BelgiumFor my client, a technology-driven organization based in Ghent, I am looking for an R&D Engineer with an electromechanical engineering background to strengthen their growing R&D team. This role offers the opportunity to work on the development of innovative products, from early concept through to testing and industrialization.The position is open to all experience levels, from enthusiastic starters to experienced R&D engineers who enjoy hands-on development and technical problem-solving.Your responsibilitiesParticipate in the design and development of electromechanical systems and productsTranslate requirements and concepts into mechanical designs, calculations, and CAD modelsBuild, test, and evaluate prototypes, and iterate designs based on test resultsCollaborate closely with colleagues in R&D, electronics, manufacturing, and qualitySupport validation, documentation, and transfer of designs to productionActively contribute ideas to improve existing products and develop new solutionsYour profileMaster's or Bachelor's degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related fieldStrong interest in or experience with mechanical design and product developmentExperience with CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, or similar) is a strong assetAnalytical mindset with a practical, hands-on approachComfortable working in a multidisciplinary R&D environmentJunior, medior, and senior profiles are all welcomeWhat my client offersA challenging role within an innovation-driven R&D environmentInvolvement throughout the entire product development lifecycleOpportunity to work on technically complex and varied projectsCompetitive salary package with additional benefits which includes a company car, aligned with experienceLong-term growth opportunities and room for personal developmentA modern workplace in Ghent with a collaborative team cultureInterested in learning more?Apply now or feel free to reach out directly via linkedin or by email to jacob.ayling@vividresourcing.com.
