IT Support Engineer

Location: Liège (with occasional travel / onsite / hybrid options) Contract type: Permanent, full-time About TMS GroupAt TMS Group, we're always on the lookout for great opportunities for our consultants.Right now, we have an exciting mission with one of our clients in Brussels, who's looking for a Support Engineer with excellent communication skills in French, Dutch, and English to strengthen their IT team.If you're looking for a role where you can combine your technical expertise with your language skills — and be part of a dynamic, multicultural environment — this could be your next challenge What you'll doAs a Support Engineer, you'll ensure the reliability and smooth operation of our clients' IT systems.Your main responsibilities will include:Providing Level 1/2 technical support to end users (and escalating when needed): diagnosing and resolving software, hardware, and network issues.Managing incidents and service requests through a ticketing/helpdesk system, ensuring timely follow-up and clear communication in the appropriate language (FR/NL/EN).Installing, configuring, and maintaining workstations, servers, and peripherals in both Windows and Linux environments.Assisting with security updates, patches, backups, and preventive maintenance.Contributing to internal documentation and knowledge base creation to share solutions and best practices.Collaborating with infrastructure, network, and development teams on more complex issues or improvement projects.Proactively identifying process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance support efficiency.
