About BoltBolt is the very first energy platform that truly wants to make the Belgian electricity market sustainable. Through Bolt, customers can buy their energy directly from local, green producers — for example from Nico's solar panels or from Stéphane's hydropower plant. This way, customers know exactly where their energy comes from and where their money goes. Traditional suppliers sell grey energy as green and do not help our country become more sustainable. Bolt wants to change thatYour ResponsibilitiesAs a Senior Energy Market Operations & Compliance Specialist, you will execute critical processes within the Belgian energy market and ensure that all communication and data flows between Bolt, grid operators, and other market parties are accurate and timely. You are responsible for managing switching, market messages (such as MIG/MIG6), budget meters, regulatory reporting, and monitoring complex market issues. Thanks to your work, all customer and market processes run smoothly and Bolt remains fully compliant with legal requirements from regulators such as VREG, Brugel, and CWaPE.In more detail:Coordinate market processes for efficient customer flowsEnsure new customers switch to Bolt without issues.Monitor the quality and timeliness of all market-related messages.Solve market-related issuesTrack incoming and outgoing market messages and ensure correct, fast handling.Handle error messages and rejected market messages.Serve as the contact person for grid operators and market platforms on complex cases.Take responsibility for the budget meter processManage the full budget meter process and ensure it complies with legal procedures.Perform regulatory and statutory reportingPrepare and submit regulatory reports, including price lists and periodic reports for regulators.Build and maintain process knowledgeDocument market processes and help improve and secure them.Support internal teams with expertise on market processes, regulations, and best practices.What We OfferExciting job (4/5 or full-time) within a growing scale-up that makes a positive impact.A dedicated and enthusiastic team with a positive mindset, including social events and team-building.A workplace with views over Brussels, with hybrid remote options.A competitive salary package with extra-legal benefits.What We Expect From YouExperience with market operations and communication with grid operators, and understanding of Belgian energy market processes.Experience with Walloon/Brussels market rules and procedures is a plus.You can communicate fluently in English; Dutch and/or French are a plus.You want to contribute to the energy transition in Belgium.Application Process"Apply Now" by sending an e-mail to talent@boltenergie.be.
