Job Title: Senior Project ManagerLocation: Hoboken, Belgium - 100% onsiteDuration: 1+ Year contractProject descriptionAs Project Manager, you will manage the projects assigned to you from A to Z. This will be a combination of larger and smaller projects, including both new initiatives and expansions.Primary Tasks and responsibilities• Manage the scope, budget, timeline, and quality of projects from A to Z• Coordinate engineering (basic and detailed), execution, and commissioning• Responsible for project layout, determining process parameters in consultation with production and R&D colleagues, providing input for P&IDs and design• Managing and monitoring the process-related part within their projects• Focus on safety, ergonomics, automation, maintenance, and energy efficiency• Collaborate with the purchasing department for components and services• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams (internal and external)• Communicate with internal stakeholders• Coordinate site and execution• Organise the commissioning phaseTechnical profile requirements• Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, or metallurgical) or equivalent through experienceo Minimum degree: industrial engineer• Minimum 10 years of experience as an end-to-end Project Manager in multi-disciplinary projects or within one of the aforementioned disciplines• Relevant experience in the sector, preferably in chemistry/metallurgy/machine construction• Minimum 5 years of experience as a (Project) Engineer within one of the aforementioned disciplines• Ability to read and draw P&ID's• Strong technical insight = absolute minimum requirementNon-Technical profile requirements• Positive attitude and team-oriented• Sense of responsibility and initiative• Hands-on mentality and safety awareness• Strong communication skills• Proficiency in Dutch is requiredMethodology/Certification requirements• VCA VOL• Certification as project manager is a strong added valueLanguage proficiencies• Dutch: fluent• Other languages are a plus
