Newtree Impact is seeking an experienced Investment Manager to strengthen its investment team. The role offers end-to-end responsibility across sourcing, execution, portfolio management, and exits within a high-impact, performance-driven investment platform.Company DescriptionNewtree Impact is a Brussels-based, mission-driven, evergreen listed holding company investing in breakthrough technologies to transform the global food system. At Newtree Impact, we are redefining impact investing, making it both accessible and performance-driven.Role DescriptionAs Investment Manager, you will play a strategic and firsthand role across the full investment lifecycle: from sourcing and structuring transactions to actively managing portfolio companies through value creation and exit. You will operate at the intersection of finance, technology, sustainability, and strategy, ensuring that each investment aligns with Newtree Impact's financial, strategic, and impact objectives. You will be part of the Investment Management team, working closely with Investment Analysts and reporting directly to our Founder and CEO.Qualifications & ResponsabilitiesInvestment sourcing and opportunity identification→ Monitor market and sector trends.→ Identify and source direct investments and fund participations.→ Assess and develop synergies within the portfolio.→ Develop relationships with investment banks, funds, and sector experts.Analysis and due diligence→ Lead financial, operational, legal, and Impact due diligence.→ Build advanced financial models.→ Prepare investment memoranda and recommendations.Transaction structuring and execution→ Structure and negotiate equity, debt, and co-investments.→ Coordinate legal documentation.→ Manage deal closing.Portfolio management and value creation→ Monitor financial and impact performance.→ Produce periodic reporting.→ Participate in governance bodies.→ Support portfolios' exit strategies.Responsibilities→ Master's degree in STEM→ Complemented by training in Corporate Finance and/or CFA, CAIA, GUBERNA, or an MBA.→ 7–10 years of relevant investment experience.→ Strong financial modelling and transaction expertise.→ Knowledge of ESG and Impact Investment.→ Fluent in English, French, or Dutch - native with a strong command of the other language.Why Join Newtree Impact? → Strategic role with real influence over capital allocation and impact.→ Exposure to innovative technologies reshaping the global food system.→ A high-Caliber, entrepreneurial investment team.→ A unique opportunity to combine financial performance and measurable impact at scale.ContactTo apply, please send your CV and a Motivation Letter explaining why your background, expertise, and vision make you the candidate to help build high-impact investments with Newtree Impact.info@newtreeimpact.com
