Senior Marketing & Communications StrategistRetail Individuals SegmentIntroFor one of our clients, a leading organization in the financial services sector, we are looking for a Senior Marketing & Communications Strategist to strengthen the Retail Individuals segment. In this strategic role, you will shape, drive and implement marketing & communications strategies that respond to evolving customer needs, market dynamics and business objectives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, impact and long-term value creation. ResponsibilitiesMonitor market trends and evolutions in Marketing & Communications (customer needs, technological developments, competitive landscape, etc.) and translate them into strategic insights and opportunities for the Retail Individuals segmentSupport and inspire squads and teams by providing clear strategic direction and insightsCo-develop, together with the Cluster Lead, the Marketing & Communications strategy for the Retail Individuals cluster (Daily Banking, Lending, Protection), including objectives and KPIsCollaborate closely with other Marketing & Communications strategists to ensure alignment with the global marketing strategyIdentify new strategic marketing and communication opportunities contributing to long-term business objectivesMonitor strategy execution, report progress to senior management and adjust where necessaryTranslate high-level strategic opportunities into concrete and mature projectsContribute to multi-year and annual marketing & communications plans and ensure delivery of key resultsCommunicate strategy and priorities clearly and convincingly to stakeholders (Strategy teams, Sales, Tribes, etc.)Inspire teams across the organization on marketing & communications topicsRepresent Marketing & Communications in strategic, cross-functional projectsExperience & CompetencesEducation & ExperienceMaster's degree in Marketing, Communications, Strategy or a related fieldMinimum 5 years of relevant experience in Marketing & Communications strategyTechnical & Business SkillsStrong analytical skillsExcellent presentation and communication skillsSolid experience in business case developmentAdvanced knowledge of MS OfficeProfound expertise in the Marketing & Communications domainProven experience in strategy development and implementationAbility to turn abstract ideas into concrete, actionable projectsStrong project management skillsSolid organizational insightBasic knowledge of Agile principlesKnowledge of the Retail Individuals segment (Daily Banking, Lending, Protection) is a plusLanguagesDutch: fluent (written & spoken)French: fluent (written & spoken)English: fluent (written & spoken)Personal CompetencesClient-centric mindsetStrong communicator with convincing skillsProactive and autonomousStrategic thinker with helicopter viewCreative, solution-oriented and forward-looking (short-, mid- and long-term)Structured, goal-oriented and decisiveEntrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving abilitiesTeam player with good stakeholder management skillsLeadership qualities and ability to motivate others
