Don't settle for just any consulting company, choose the one that's right for youWe're on the lookout for a Data Engineer to join our expanding AI & Data start-up on a project in the telecom industry.As a Data Engineer, your mission would include:Supporting the design, building, and maintenance of robust data pipelines to help our telecom client derive actionable insights.Collaborating with the team and stakeholders to ensure that data is structured and processed effectively for analytics and insights.Utilizing SQL and Python to process and analyze large datasets, focusing on data quality and performance.Working with spatial data and applying analysis techniques to gain insights into complex telecom data.Implementing best practices in data engineering, ensuring scalability and maintainability in the system.Supporting the team in data engineering tasks like troubleshooting, optimization, and improvement of data workflows.You're a step closer to joining our team if you bring:Background:A Master's degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).1-3 years of experience in Data Engineering or a related role, preferably in a consulting environment.Technical Skills:Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.Knowledge of big data technologies and tools.Experience with Hive is a plus (but not required).Familiarity with spatial data analysis is a plus.Soft Skills:Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.A problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude and a hacker mentality.Highly curious and always eager to improve and learn.Strong ability to work independently and drive projects from intake to delivery.Practical Info:Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English.We know that finding the right job isn't just about the role, it's about what's in it for you, too.
