With our unique and innovative solutions to both regular and complex needs, Sabena Engineering is all set to grow as a worldwide proximity partner, bringing its expertise wherever needed.Sabena Engineering & SABCA are part of a unique industrial ecosystem in the Belgian aerospace industry which is owned by Sabena Aerospace (holding company) and by the Société Fédérale de Participations et d'Investissements (SFPI/FPIM).Are you ready to join us?As a Project Manager you'll intervene in several stages of an aircraft base maintenance check : from supporting the sales process when quoting the workpack and/or analysing the quotation, to the management of the contract related to a specific project.The Project Manager you'll have daily interactions with clients, internal teams and key stakeholders, highlighting the vital role of the Project Manager in ensuring smooth operations and project success within a highly regulated and demanding environment.Your main responsibilities:Support of the Sales processReview and Quotation of the workpackHelps sales with the negotiation process and challenges where necessary.Ensures the pre-input meeting is well prepared by the Preparation Officers and attends the pre-input meetingProject managementIs responsible for achieving objectives of the project : TAT, Quality, Profitability/costs, within the organizational context and justifies deviations from performanceIs responsible for the timely receipt of all required customer info along the checkBefore project starts, presents to the Project Team (Project Coordinators, Production Support, ...) an overview of the project and highlights critical path and specific points of attentionOversees the entire project and is responsible for technical coordination. Defines the planning, priorities and major milestones in collaboration with the Base Maintenance Manager and Project Coordinators.Is responsible for coordinating with suppliers and assures all critical items are presentMonitors the costs reported on the project on a daily basis and ensures that they are consistent with the forecast.Follows up on manhours of both internal and contracted workers.Performs an availability check on resources with Manpower Planning department, material, tooling and equipment with the help from the Production SupportOptimises the profitability of the project ; aims to continually reduce costs and TATs while keeping a high quality standardDraws up an economic status report for the project and a projection for the end of the project, and assesses the resources needed to complete the check together with the Project CoordinatorDraws up the economic balance sheet at the end of the project and supports in the invoicing towards the clientyour profile:Engineering degree in electromechanics or equivalent through experience.Minimum 5 years experience in aircraft maintenance.Technical knowledge in aeronautics is a plusProject management skillsExcellent communicatorDecision-maker, solution finderTeam player; able to interact with large group of people from different department; able to analyse, synthesize, prioritiseCustomer oriented and service sensitivityStress resistantLanguage skills in English and French and/or DutchIT skills ( Microsoft office)Our offer:Join the Sabena Engineering family, which is passionate about aviation and fully dedicated to its success.
