Your key responsibilities as a Cloud Data & AI Platform Expert

As a Cloud Data & AI Platform Expert you will design solutions to seamlessly embed GenAI capabilities into our Data Analytics platform. This will enable data engineers, data scientists & analysts to efficiently & securely build GenAI data pipelines, explore unstructured datasets with LLM’s from their Snowflake or AWS workbench. Additionally, you will design structural platform capabilities to support Telenet’s Agentic AI solutions including unstructured data management & access.

• Embed GenAI into Data Workbench: Identify & design how to structurally, securely & scalable integrate GenAI capabilities, like using LLM’s into our data workbench to support data pipelines, model training, data exploration, …
• Unstructured Data Management: Identify & design platform capabilities to support the ingestion, management and use of unstructured data for GenAI use cases securely.
• Data analytical Platform Expertise: Design & coordinate the implementation of products/services in AWS & Snowflake from secure storage to processing power, purpose-based access management and general accelerators that can bring efficiency and effectiveness towards the tribe.
• Abstract underlying infrastructure to enable your customers to focus on the data processing and allowing the platform team to rapidly follow new technologies without having to trigger a migration project
• Cross-team Collaboration: Work closely with our different stakeholders to define the best fit-for-purpose solution and make it land
• Capability Roadmap: Take a leading role in technology & platform innovations with the lightning-speed (r)evolution of Data & AI
• Automation and Efficiency: Define solutions where GenAI can help streamline our data platform workflows, repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention

Our ideal Cloud Data & AI Platform Expert

• A Master or bachelor’s in computer science or related education / experience.
• Profound experience in a production-level data environments.
• Excellent knowledge on Snowflake, AWS, Terraform and Python.
• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, EMR, EKS, Spark, Gitlab.
• Experience with modern schedulers: Dagster, Airflow, …
• Experience with Cloud services required for GenAI: API Endpoints (LLM’s), Vector DB’s, …
• Familiarity with Machine Learning/AI Pipelines: Experience working with ML frameworks and an understanding of GenAI models is an advantage
• Experience with data access management solutions like Raito.
• Experience with scalable API development in a challenging production environment.
• Experience in a DevOps world is a plus, the will to take end-to-end ownership is a must.
• Good communication skills. You feel comfortable challenging others.
• Problem-Solving Mindset
• Profound English skills. Dutch skills are a plus.
