Position Description:

CGI has a large and established business in financial services, supporting leading organizations with business transformation, operational change and technology initiatives.
We are looking for experienced Business Analysts, Functional Analysts and Project / PMO professionals with strong knowledge of Asset Management and Financial Markets to support a range of transformation, operational and change initiatives.
The role combines business and functional analysis, process improvement, stakeholder coordination and project delivery. Depending on the assignment, you may work across Front, Middle and Back Office environments, helping to understand business needs, analyse processes, define requirements and target operating models, coordinate change and support implementation through to BAU.
We are particularly interested in professionals who understand the Asset Management and investment lifecycle and can operate across different functional topics. Relevant experience may include investment operations, trade lifecycle and support, Fund Accounting/NAV, Transfer Agency, Custody, Depositary Services, Fund Dealing, Reporting, settlements and outsourced operations.
The ideal profile is a versatile financial-services professional who combines strong analytical and delivery capabilities with sufficient functional and technical understanding to work effectively between business, operations, technology and external service providers.

What will you do
• Business & functional analysis. Understand business needs, gather and challenge requirements, analyse processes and translate operational challenges into clear functional requirements, process flows, impact assessments and implementation plans.
• Asset Management & Financial Markets. Apply your understanding of the investment lifecycle and Front-to-Middle-to-Back operating model across areas such as investment operations, trade lifecycle, Fund Accounting/NAV, Custody, Transfer Agency, Fund Dealing, Reporting or other Middle/Back Office activities.
• Process optimization. Analyse AS-IS processes, identify inefficiencies, risks and improvement opportunities, and contribute to TO-BE processes, target operating models and operational improvements.
• Project & change delivery. Support or lead workstreams from initial framing through implementation. Contribute to planning, governance, dependency and risk management, stakeholder coordination, progress monitoring and reporting.
• Stakeholder & provider coordination. Work across business, Operations, IT, Risk and external stakeholders. Facilitate workshops, align requirements and coordinate dependencies with custodians, service providers or other external partners where relevant.
• Testing, implementation & BAU. Define acceptance criteria and support UAT, operational readiness, issue resolution, rollout, documentation and knowledge transfer through to successful BAU handover.

What you bring
• 4–8 years of experience in financial services, preferably within Asset Management, Financial Markets, Securities Services or Investment Operations.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Business Project Manager, PMO, Change Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of Asset Management and the investment lifecycle, with knowledge of Front, Middle and/or Back Office processes.
• Hands-on experience in one or more relevant domains, such as investment operations, trade lifecycle/support, Fund Accounting/NAV, Transfer Agency, Custody, Depositary Services, Fund Dealing, Reporting or settlements.
• Strong capabilities in requirements gathering, process analysis/modelling, process optimization, stakeholder management and structured delivery.
• Ability to work across business, operations and IT, translating between functional requirements and implementation teams.
• Experience supporting or coordinating testing/UAT, implementation and operational change.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, IT or equivalent professional experience.

• French OR Dutch (C1+) as well as English (C1+) is required.

Valuable Additional Experience
• Investment & trade operations. Experience with trade lifecycle, trade support, settlements, reconciliations, exception/break management, and ideally exposure to OTC derivatives or other complex financial instruments.
• Asset servicing & outsourced operations. Exposure to custodians, securities services providers, fund administrators, clearers or other outsourced service providers, including management of operational dependencies and service quality.
• Transformation & target operating models. Experience defining AS-IS / TO-BE processes, target operating models (TOMs) and supporting operational transformation, outsourcing or process redesign initiatives.
• Data & reporting. Experience working on data quality, operational reporting, regulatory reporting or data-related transformation, particularly within investment or financial-markets environments.
• Regulatory & risk awareness. Familiarity with the control, risk and regulatory requirements of financial institutions and their impact on processes and systems.
• Methods & tools. Experience with Agile/Scrum, BPMN, process-mapping, requirements-management and project-management tools. Certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, Agile/Scrum, IIBA/CBAP or Lean Six Sigma are an advantage.
