Project

• Customer is developing a strategic vision in the field of artificial intelligence with a view to its responsible use. The AI strategy clarifies how the organization intends to organize itself in this area.
• Customer promotes innovation, and therefore the development, testing and use of AI systems. However, due to the potential risks on the one hand and the legal and regulatory requirements arising from the AI Act on the other, specific processes must be followed.
• The Client AI-Lab is a controlled and secure experimental environment in which AI applications can be developed, tested and validated before eventually being deployed within the organization. It provides a controlled environment to explore new applications, gain experience, manage risk, and integrate governance, security, and compliance from the start.
• The ultimate goal is to give the Client access to AI in a safe, legal and ethical way in order to support employees in operational and support tasks.

Mission

• The general context of the function aims to ensure and improve all aspects of the integration of Linux server environments into the internal and external IT systems of the Client.
• The purpose of the function proposed here is to support our organization in its desire to maintain a Docker-type Linux container infrastructure in order to enable the development of AI applications based on an IT micro-services architecture.

As an Openshift Administrator, your tasks include:

• Continuous adjustment of the relationships between organizational objectives and system objectives.
• Coordination of a team of specialists according to available resources.
• The development of standards, guidelines and procedures for the development and evolution of technical systems.
• The implementation of Red Hat OpenShift infrastructures (version 4 and newer) in the police's datacenters as a containerization solution, with its Kubernetes orchestrator, mainly for AI workloads.
• The daily management of these container infrastructures, based on a task automation tool such as Ansible.
• The guarantee of the proper functioning of the containers within these infrastructures.
• Monitoring of the use and performance of Open Shift platforms, their containers and their orchestrators by solutions such as Prometheus/Kibana.
• Analyzing trends in usage and performance; and the actions to be taken based on these analyses.
• Planning expansions, based on usage forecasts.
• Coordinating the deployment of these extensions and updates to Open Shift infrastructures based on vendor recommendations, including major releases.

• Analysis and validation of the architectural evolution of the application platform container.
   
• In your role, you will contribute to the digital transformation of Integrated Policing by securely replacing different tools and technologies to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
• In this regard, game-based and server-based solutions play an important role and a modern, reliable, high-performance and above all secure environment is essential.
