We’re seeking a Senior Project Leader Technique to autonomously drive and deliver high-impact technical projects for our client in Brussels. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end management of technical projects, from scoping and planning to execution and delivery.
• Define project structures, develop detailed project and approach plans (scenarios, timelines, budgets), and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Drive communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring transparency and proactive issue resolution.
• Monitor project execution, including scheduling, budget, scope, quality, and risk management, using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Report on project progress, challenges, and outcomes to all relevant parties.
• Motivate, coordinate, and support multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Apply project management methodologies (ITIL, Prince2, Agile) to ensure best-in-class delivery.
• Enable operational management of technical projects in areas such as API gateway containerization (Axway), Adabas databases, legacy system modernization, Java application versioning, cybersecurity (NIS2 compliance), Google Cloud implementation, IAM & secret management, Vault service deployment, and other infrastructure initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience in managing and monitoring large-scale technical projects, ideally in a GCloud environment for social security, healthcare, or public services.
• University degree or equivalent through experience.
• Ownership mindset: you take initiative, drive outcomes, and thrive in autonomy.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and coaching skills.
• Methodical, organized, and able to prioritize and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with project methodologies (Agile, ITIL, Prince2) and technical project delivery.
• Ability to summarize and apply best practices in technical project management.

Language Proficiency

• Professional proficiency in English is required.
• Knowledge of French or Dutch is a strong asset.

Other Requirements

• This is a freelance position with an initial duration from 1/09 to 31/12/2026, renewable in three-month increments based on project needs.
• Hybrid work model: minimum 2 days on-site per week in Brussels, with up to 3 days remote.
• Availability to start in September 2026.
