RELYzIT Talent is seeking an elite Full-Stack Developer for a high-impact, freelance assignment with our client, a leading force in digital health innovation. You’ll be at the heart of a national initiative to empower Belgian healthcare professionals with a next-generation, evidence-based point-of-care platform. The stakes are high: your expertise will help ensure that every healthcare professional has the right information, at the right time, in the right context.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain a robust, scalable full-stack platform for evidence-based healthcare information delivery.
• Build advanced analytics and monitoring dashboards to provide actionable insights and ensure platform reliability.
• Centralize (meta)data within evidence retrieval systems, ensuring seamless access and discoverability.
• Develop and implement AI-enabled information retrieval solutions, including federated and semantic search capabilities.
• Integrate authentication and authorisation frameworks (eID, SSO, Cobrha) to ensure secure, compliant access.
• Enable interoperability with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, supporting direct access from clinical workflows.
• Integrate external publisher APIs and content services, ensuring up-to-date, validated medical knowledge is always available.
• Work with healthcare terminology systems (SNOMED CT, ICD, ICPC) to ensure accurate, context-aware information delivery.
• Leverage vector databases and advanced knowledge systems to power intelligent search and retrieval.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical experts, data scientists, and product owners, to deliver a platform that meets real-world healthcare needs.
• Champion best practices in content governance, data onboarding, and stakeholder engagement.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Developer in digital health or knowledge platform projects.
• Expertise in building analytics and monitoring dashboards.
• Hands-on experience centralizing (meta)data within evidence retrieval systems.
• Demonstrated ability to develop AI-enabled information retrieval solutions.
• Experience implementing authentication and authorisation frameworks (eID, SSO, Cobrha).
• Proficiency in federated search and semantic search solutions.
• Integration experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
• Experience integrating external publisher APIs and content services.
• Strong skills in API development, React, and Python.
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology systems (SNOMED CT, ICD, ICPC) and interoperability standards.
• Experience with vector databases and advanced knowledge systems.
• Deep understanding of evidence-based content structures and point-of-care information systems in healthcare.

• Assignment duration: 4 months, with potential for renewal based on project needs and performance.
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum frameworks is preferred.
• Immediate availability is a plus.
