RELYzIT Talent is seeking a Senior Developer (Java/Angular) for a high-impact freelance mission with our client, a central player in the digital transformation of the Belgian public sector. You’ll join a team driving the evolution of critical applications supporting children’s health, prenatal care, and vaccination management. What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and developing new features for mission-critical applications in collaboration with analysts, technical leads, and fellow developers.
• Building and evolving both Java backend and Angular frontend components, ensuring seamless integration and high performance.
• Applying best practices in Clean Code, quality assurance, and technical standards to deliver maintainable, scalable solutions.
• Participating in the full software lifecycle: from technical design and implementation to deployment, validation, and maintenance.
• Conducting unit and integration testing, code reviews, and continuous refactoring to enhance code quality and reduce technical debt.
• Collaborating daily within an Agile/SCRUM environment, actively engaging in ceremonies and cross-functional teamwork.
• Ensuring robust documentation and knowledge sharing within the team to foster collective growth and resilience.
• Supporting the deployment process, validating releases, and ensuring compliance with delivery standards.
• Contributing to the ongoing evolution and corrective maintenance of existing applications, adapting solutions to emerging needs.
• Communicating proactively about technical risks, challenges, and dependencies to ensure project success.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Senior Developer in Java and Angular environments, ideally within complex, service-oriented architectures.

• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building solutions that matter.
• Experience working in Agile/SCRUM teams, with a collaborative and communicative approach.
• Attention to quality, maintainability, and continuous improvement in all aspects of development.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new challenges and evolving project requirements.
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, with at least 50% on-site presence in Brussels required.
• Consultant mindset: professional, ethical, and focused on delivering value in every engagement.

Language Proficiency

• Fluency in French is mandatory (the mission is conducted exclusively in French).

Other Requirements

• Freelance position: 2-month mission, starting mid-November 2026 through end of 2027.
