ITOT Project Manager
About the Role
In this role, you will be the end-to-end responsible for the preparation, coordination, and successful delivery of ICT projects in our facilities automation and integrations program. These automation projects include the setup of a new access control system as well as projects onboarding the production equipment on our ITOT data platform consisting of an Historian, MQTT brokers and an AI cloud environment.
You will ensure alignment with objectives, scope, budget, and timeline as defined in the project charter. With your strong project management expertise, you will coordinate technical teams, vendors, and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with governance, quality standards, and operational requirements.
What you will do
Project Planning & Coordination:
- Define and maintain a comprehensive and up-to-date project plan, including deliverables, timelines, resources, risks, dependencies and a testing strategy.
- Ensure projects are executed in line with our agreed standards and methodology, including quality gating and thorough testing activities to ensure readiness before go-live.
- Coordinate, motivate, and support cross-functional teams involved in our ITOT landscape.
Infrastructure & Technical Setup:
- Oversee the setup and configuration of your projects within our ITOT landscape.
- Ensure implementation of monitoring solutions to guarantee system stability and performance.
- Coordinate installation and configuration of ITOT components like edge devices, IOT gateways and reporting dashboards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to development, infrastructure and integration activities.
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts during implementation and aftercare phases.
Access & Governance:
- Manage and oversee access rights setup and maintenance in collaboration with relevant teams.
- Ensure alignment with internal IT security and compliance policies.
Operational setup:
- Define and establish the support model, including roles, responsibilities, SLAs, and escalation paths.
- Act as the contact person to manage on-going change across ICT and the components within our ITOT landscape
- Organize training sessions, ensure proper documentation and knowledge transfer.
Governance & Reporting:
- Establish appropriate project governance, organizing project team meetings and steering committees.
- Present key decision points, impacts, and alternatives to steering committees.
- Provide regular reporting on progress, budget, risks, and issues to the ICT Business Partner, Business Owner and other project team members.
Handover to Operations:
- Ensure complete knowledge transfer and operational readiness before project closure.
- Support post-go-live stabilization and ensure smooth transition to support teams.

Who you are
Education & Experience:
- A master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in infrastructure or hardware integration projects, ideally in an industrial context
- Strong background in hands-on project management
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, SAFe, agile), applied pragmatically.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and coordination skills, with a pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to bridge business and technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities.
- Fluent in Dutch and English.
Technical Tools Expertise:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 tools (SharePoint, Teams, , OneDrive, etc.).
- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools is an advantage.
- The role encourages to get hands-on with the technological stack we are using.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with automation and integration projects.
- Familiarity with defining operational support models.
- Previous experience in complex, fast-paced technical environments.
