Size and functions of local team: 40 people, enterprise sales-led with AE and marketing support + Sales enablement

Role description: Enterprise Account Executive (Herman the AI Agent)

New business focus in territory targeting mid-sized to large banks and lenders
Average deal size for Lenders (Banks and Insurers): €100K–1M+
Sales cycle: long, complex; deals supported by network, events, inbound, and marketing
Deals are strongly supported by partners (and internally by the partner manager)
Target customers: banks processing 1K–10K mortgages annually
Direct sales: acts as a trusted advisor
Self-driven pipeline creation expected (no BDRS, but support from marketing, GTM engineers for outbound, events, PR agency).
Enterprise buyers; product is AI-integrated and highly regulated
Reports to CRO; strong collaboration with Product & Marketing and CEO.
Allowed to sell also in other regions (Italy, Luxembourg, UK, Slovakia, Hungary, etc.)

You'll have direct access to strategic product influence and go-to-market decisions
Recently got funding (May '25), Revenue sitting at 3.5M ARR - growing to 5M ARR in '26 for Series B
Involved in closing 7-figure contracts with leading financial institutions
Strong team culture, flat, international, and collaborative team environment focused on transparency and ownership.

Growth perspective (for the candidate in the role/company):

Equity offered
Territory ownership and development (e.g. Dutch market or Belgium market)
Exposure to the rapid expansion phase and the opportunity to shape GTM

Must-haves:

3+ years of Ent. B2B SaaS experience (tenure in carrying 800k+ ARR quota with 6-figure deals on average)
Experience selling to FSI (Banks, brokers, Insurance companies) > If this is lacking, the candidate needs to tick all other boxes, and should have sold to similar markets (Pharma / Government)
Need to have a strong network in the Benelux FSI market
Hands-on builder mindset (start-up / scale-up experience)
Hunter mentality, proactive pipeline builder, someone who enjoys autonomy

Oper is open to more senior profiles who have great energy and are willing to work in a start-up.

Salary range & secondary benefits:

€100-110K base salary + €80-90K commission (4x target = €720K revenue)
option on company car
Commission boosters and accelerators available (e.g. pre-paid contracts + long-term contracts) paid out monthly when prepaid deals are done
