ASIC Design Project Manager

What you will do

 As ASIC Design Project Manager, you will:

• be imec.IC-link’s face to the customer regarding projects within ASIC design team.

• define turnkey or service ASIC design project plans supporting customer requirements involving internal and/or external design, IP and implementation capabilities.

• discuss the necessary resource allocation with the internal design group and the external design partner(s), depending on the needs of the project.

• have a good feeling for pricing, timeframes, effort and EDA tool and server requirements in ASIC developments.

• coordinate ASIC design projects within the agreed budget and timeframe, by making sure everyone knows what is expected of them by when.

• host and minute weekly meetings and keep an action point list.

• review design project deliverables before delivery to the customer.

• follow the quality procedures of imec (e.g. documentation, milestones, checklists, risk management ...).

• keep the imec.IC-link management informed about the status of the prospected and running projects

Who you are

• You have at-least 5 years of experience in managing and delivering ASIC design projects from conception to tape-out.

• You have a good understanding of the analog and digital IC design flow and can proactively act when technical difficulties arise.

• You have excellent communication (in English), interpersonal and reporting skills.

• You have proven ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• You are interested in working in a flexible service environment.

• You demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Customer-orientation, pro-activity and result-orientation are the best keywords to describe your profile
