Through our funding programmes, we help companies, research organisations and universities work together in international collaboration to develop new products, processes and services.

The Eureka Network offices are based in Brussels (Etterbeek, Merode). The 40-person team supports the network of ministries and funding agencies in 47 countries. Our team is international, collaborative and committed to helping innovation create positive socio-economic impact.

To support our mission, we are looking for a temporary:

Programme management and web content officer

(3-month temporary contract)

About the role 

We are looking for a motivated and organised early-career professional to join the Eureka Network offices for three months. This entry-level role is split equally between supporting web content administration and supporting the operations programme team to maintain the Eureka expert database.

You will spend about half your time supporting the Communications team by handling change requests and uploading and maintaining calls for project funding on the Eureka website. The other half will be spent supporting operations programme team to maintain a broad pool of external experts who evaluate project applications.

What we are looking for

  • A recent graduate or early-career professional interested in international innovation, communications, programme support or public funding.
  • Strong organisational skills and good attention to detail.
  • Confidence working with digital tools, online platforms and shared documents.
  • Clear written and spoken English.
  • A careful and structured way of working, especially when handling data and deadlines.
  • A collaborative attitude and willingness to support colleagues across different teams.
  • An interest in learning how international R&D funding programmes work.

Duties and Responsibilities

Web content administration (50%)

  • Upload and update calls for project funding on the Eureka website.
  • Check that call pages are accurate, complete and clearly presented.
  • Coordinate with programme colleagues to collect the information needed for call pages.
  • Apply Eureka’s web content standards and accessibility guidance.
  • Help keep web content well organised and up to date.

External expert pool support (50%)

  • Support the operation programmes team to maintain a deep pool of experts with broad thematic and market expertise.
  • Help identify, contact and follow up with independent experts.
  • Contribute to drafting guidance for independent experts.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases related to expert evaluation, and provide general administrative support related to expert evaluation.
  • Contribute to guidance for experts.
