Business Analyst responsible for optimizing and digitizing asset-related business processes within a complex energy environment. The role bridges business needs and IT by translating requirements into practical solutions, supporting implementation, testing, change management, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Model and redesign business processes.
- Identify business needs and translate them into requirements, epics and user stories.
- Challenge and advise stakeholders on processes and requirements.
- Develop business information models.
- Harmonize processes across departments and international teams.
- Align and validate requirements with business and IT.
- Validate functional IT analyses and test implemented solutions.
- Support change management, including training and documentation.
- Support users after implementation.
- Contribute to digitalization of maintenance, safety, planning and operational processes.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Business Analyst experience.
- Excellent Dutch, French and English.
- Master’s degree in a technical or economic field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of BPMN and UML.
- Basic SAP PM knowledge or willingness to learn it.
- Experience with Enterprise Architect, Jira and TFS DevOps is a plus.
- Experience in the electricity/energy sector or industrial asset maintenance is a plus.
