Location: Brussels
Hours per week: 40 (at least 2 days in the office)
Contract: end of 2027 freelance (will extend)
We ARE Renewables is looking for a Project Leader - Service for a project in the Southeast region of Belgium.
You will contribute to electrical infrastructure projects involving high-voltage substations at 380, 220, 150, 70 and 36 kV. And will operate within the Infrastructure Projects Department.
Responsibilities:
- Involvement in the project from definition through to completion: participation in the definition, study and design of projects, ensuring project execution and administrative closure.
- Carrying out and supporting technical studies.
- Performing calculations and developing and monitoring project budgets and schedules, taking into account the required and available resources and customer requirements.
- Developing tender documents and participating in the procurement process.
- Leading and coordinating site execution in cooperation with relevant employees within the company, as well as suppliers, contractors, customers, etc.
- Communicating and reporting on project progress.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience combined with a strong technical interest.
- Experience in project management and/or site supervision is a plus.
- Fluent/perfect knowledge of French. Knowledge of the other national language is a strong advantage.
- Interest in the energy sector.
- Strong sense of responsibility and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills, with a confident/assertive and customer-oriented approach.
- French language is a must have requirement.
