We are looking for a Data Governance Consultant to support the development, implementation, and operationalization of data governance and data excellence frameworks within the Federal Police. The role involves establishing effective data governance structures, defining roles and processes, improving data management practices, and promoting data literacy across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of DAMA-DMBOK / Data Governance principles and frameworks.
- Contribute to Data Product Management and data quality initiatives.
- Develop and support data literacy and training programs.
- Implement and maintain metadata management using OpenMetadata.
- Expand and maintain Business Glossaries, ensuring consistent data definitions.
- Define and improve data governance roles, processes, standards, and agreements.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to promote data excellence and governance adoption.
