We are looking for a Low Code & AI Automation Engineer to join an AI-focused team responsible for developing and scaling AI-powered productivity and automation solutions.
In this role, you will design and build intelligent agents, workflow automations and business applications using the Microsoft Power Platform and Copilot ecosystem. You will combine hands-on development with business enablement, translating business needs into practical, scalable solutions and supporting users in adopting them successfully.
The position is primarily focused on low-code AI, automation and productivity platforms, working alongside AI Engineers and Data Scientists responsible for more custom and high-code AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build AI agents, workflow automations and productivity solutions using the Microsoft AI ecosystem, including Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio.
- Translate business requirements and opportunities into scalable, user-friendly low-code solutions that deliver measurable value.
- Develop reusable agent patterns, templates, connectors and automation accelerators.
- Design and maintain reusable enterprise AI and automation capabilities.
- Support and coach citizen developers, business teams and product teams in adopting low-code and AI solutions.
- Contribute to governance, security, lifecycle management and best practices for Power Platform and AI agents.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, AI Engineers, Data Scientists and AI Coaches to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and help identify and prioritise AI and automation opportunities.
Profile & Experience:
We are looking for someone with:
- Hands-on experience developing solutions within the Microsoft AI and Low Code ecosystem.
- Strong knowledge of Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot and Dataverse.
- Experience with Copilot Studio, Power Virtual Agents or other conversational AI platforms.
- Strong interest and experience in Generative AI, AI agents, Microsoft 365 Copilot and intelligent automation.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical, intuitive solutions.
- Understanding of governance, security and lifecycle management within Power Platform environments.
- Experience leading or driving low-code and automation initiatives.
- Ability to engage and influence both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Very good Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Azure AI, Azure AI Foundry or API integrations.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot extensibility and agent development.
- Experience within an AI, automation or digital transformation environment.
- Experience building reusable enterprise automation capabilities or communities of practice.
- Previous experience or knowledge within the insurance sector.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications such as PL-200, PL-400 or PL-600.
