Support engineer media

• We are looking for a Support Engineer with an interest in media. This can be done half-time or full-time.

What do we expect from you?

• As a media support engineer, you are in the middle of the production process every day: journalists, editors, directors can confidently submit their technical problem to you, on which you can get to work. You solve the technical incidents yourself or you encourage a fellow specialist to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.

• You provide first-line support to production staff from the various editorial teams. You support them in all technical resources/facilities that are used for the radio networks, the news service and the TV editors. You have a coordinating role in solving difficulties, directing your colleagues within the technology department to restore service as quickly as possible. You will help follow up on technical projects (e.g. new studios, broadcasting system, recording equipment, etc.). You will test new systems and equipment and you will document and provide training to end users.

Who are you?

• You have a master's or bachelor's degree (preferably in a technical field such as industrial engineering, computer science, etc. or equivalent through experience) and you are fascinated by technology. Do you have an audiovisual education and sufficient knowledge of IT and electronics? Then you are also eligible. You are very communicative and customer-oriented. You are stress resistant and able to deal with feedback. You attach importance to quality and you have a great sense of responsibility. You are a problem solver, strive for high quality standards and give the best of yourself to achieve the best results with the available people and resources. You have an analytical mind and can correctly analyze a question from the customer. You have a team spirit, know how to integrate smoothly and identify with the objectives of the Client. You are willing to work morning, day, evening and weekend.
