- Functional analyst: Within the ICT Applications department, we capture the business and user needs and convert them into user-friendly applications. As a functional analyst in the ICT Applications Customers Energy Supplies team, you will form the bridge between our business partners in the Energy Supplies department and the developers. You fulfill this role within various projects that have an impact on the applications of Energy Deliveries, but also in the context of maintenance, bug fixing and user support of these applications.
Your role will focus on
- Describing computerization needs: capturing the business needs and converting them into functional analyses and technical designs.
- Drawing up the functional specifications and having this description validated by the business.
- You translate functional specifications into technical specifications / designs, so that the solution is clear and can be implemented by a programmer.
- Documenting the already existing (reverse engineering) and new functionalities-You
- will be involved in maintenance, bug fixing and user support of applications, built in different technologies (.Net, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP)
- You will handle tickets in the context of incident management
- You participate (in the role of advisor based on your knowledge and experience of both energy market and technical components) in workshops and meetings with other business and ICT colleagues.
- During these discussions, you point out consequences and potential risks when deviating from the standards.
- You actively work on knowledge retention and knowledge transfer to your colleagues.
- You draw up test scenarios for the ICT tests, carry them out and support business with acceptance tests.
- You analyze defects and come up with efficient, simple descriptions.
- You will meticulously apply the working methods in the context of the change and release management process.
- You analyze problems and come up with efficient, simple solutions
- You think pragmatically and solution-oriented within an agreed scope.
- You are diplomatic and communicate fluently with various stakeholders.
- You can handle the English language
- You are open to being multi-deployable in function of the evolving context and can easily deal with changing circumstances
- You work closely with our business colleagues and other analysts and developers of the team
- You report to the internal team lead and/or Digital Product Owner
