Functional Analyst

Context:

• Evidence Based Prevention is a strategic project of that aims to support our members in a healthy lifestyle through personalized prevention actions and advice.
• As an Analyst EBP, you will work within an agile team on the development and further expansion of the Evidence Based Prevention project within Client.  Within this team, we are looking for an analyst who also has both functional but also technical knowledge and experience.

• Close collaboration between business & ICT in an Agile and Scrum project mode.
• Working in sprints of 10 working days (Tuesday to Tuesday).
• Daily stand-up to explain the status of the tasks to the team.
• Organize demos and animate with business to set up short feedback loops.

Stake /commitment:

• Experience with ICT and Data projects is an absolute must
• Very strong and thorough functional and solid technical analysis skills.
• Experience in working in an Agile environment and scrum team.
• You have a clear interest in data projects, and with a health theme.
• Experience in using UML and BPMN syntax.
• You are analytical and critical by nature. You question solutions.
• Experience with Cloud (AWS) environments is a plus.
• Experience with AI and using LLMs in an SDLC Process is a plus.
• Working with different parties and the resulting restrictions does not scare you.
• You can quickly familiarize yourself with new material.

• Work location: minimum 1 day a week Schaerbeek (Brussels), 4 days a week homeworking.

Responsibilities:

• The main task is to analyze requirements related to setting up EBP projects, taking into account the required functionalities of the business. This analysis starts from defining and collecting business requirements and rules and also includes the functional and technical translation, in order to arrive at clear DevReady Jira tickets (tasks, stories, bugs) for the development team.
• Additional tasks:
• Performing functional tests to validate the developed software
• Assisting the developers in developing the software. Of course, you don't have to develop yourself, but you do have to be available to the developers if you have any questions or need further clarification.
